A combination of nutrition and taste
YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING:
1 cup (milk cup) of prilan fonio
3 cups of water
Fonio is one of the most nutritious of all grains.
Very rich in metionine and cystine, amino acids necessary for human development.
More nutritious than major cereals like rice, maize, sorghum, barley etc
- Add 3 cups of water to pot and allow to heat up
- Pour prilan fonio into the pot and keep stirring to prevent it from molding/clumping together
- Cook for about 7 - 10 mins on low to medium heat while stirring repeatedly
- Add more water if too thick or to your desired consistency
- Serve hot with bread/moinmoin/akara etc
- Serve 3-4
